The Julian Foundation is a California Non-Profit 501(c)(3) group formed to honor the life of our friend, Julian Collender. We seek to achieve positive social change by supporting the pursuit of education, artistic endeavors and creative self-expression so that Julian’s passions will continue to thrive.
Rather than merely emphasizing GPA’s and test scores, we value interesting stories, alternative ideas, and passionate drives. Our academic scholarships are awarded to select applicants in a traditional college or university program.
Sometimes you just need some additional resources to make your idea a reality. Whether it's starting a record label or filming a skate part. Individuals can submit their proposals throughout the year for grants and other assistance.
We help individuals create any form of printed publication from small scale self-published magazines to limited edition vinyls to anything your heart can dream of. There’s something refreshing about analog in our digital-obsessed world.
Our 2017 Scholarship program is currently now accepting applications. Please review the full evaluation criteria and instructions before completing your application. We also accept applications for our Project Grants all year round.
Your support goes directly to funding our academic scholarship, independent project fund, workshops, and zines. Please feel free to contact us and find out how you can donate or volunteer. Thank you for your contributions!
